There are three types of hunting: Socially, Physically and on Animals. Each type has their pros and cons, and also their own possible modifiers to your pool. Check below for each type’s discipline modifiers (skill-based modifiers still work, if appropriate):

If you would like your character feed in some other way, please see the storyteller for appropriate modifiers.
Herd and/or Haven Location add to your dice pool for hunting rolls where logical and appropriate (ex. a herd of blood dolls won’t help you hunt animals). For Herd this represents their varying availability as it is not possible to feed on the same person night after night and they still have lives of their own.
When using Disciplines that require Blood Points or Willpower to activate you must spend those in the hunt if you choose to use that Discipline in your roll.
Only one modifier from each discipline can be applied to your hunting roll. (ex. a kindred hunting socially cannot apply a bonus for Majesty (•), (•••) and (••••), but would have to choose which of the three to apply.)
